Caught in the Act--Daddy Gives In

We are still trying to get the twins to sleep through the night without giving in and bringing them to bed with us. On this particular night, we agreed that, under no circumstances, would we bring them to our bed. At 1:00 am, I realized that Jeremy was not in bed with me. This is what I found! It was really sweet, and I had to take a picture. At least he didn't break the rules!

Twins, Twins and More Twins at Hands On

Last Friday, the Tri-Cities Twin Club had its winter get-together at Hands On Museum. We decided to take our twins even though they are still so little. They had a BLAST!!! It is the best thing in the world to see your children so excited about something! They were laughing and squealing with delight the whole evening!! Here are some pics.
Noah's Ark
Fun on the Playground
Flying High!
I hope she enjoys grocery shopping more than Mommy---it is my least favorite thing to do! I love making noise!
Driving off into the sunset!
Finally, daddy took a picture of mommy.

Laughing, Dreaming and Living

These are the lyrics to (Christian Artist) Wes King's song about his own struggle with infertility. It is a beautiful testimony to the real feelings of 1 in 6 couples who face this reality. Praise be to God that I now have 2 rooms full of stories!

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song.
Psalm 28:7-8

Thought You'd Be Here
We thought you'd be here by now your Mother and I
We're praying through our tears that somehow We might hear your sweet cry
Have we waited to long
It's getting harder to be strong
Is there something we've done wrong
But if you like dancing I'll make it rain rhythm and rhyme and melodies, child
And if you like dreaming
Your Mother will make your imagination run wild
Somehow, we thought you'd be here by now
We have a room just for you, upstairs
It's right down the hall
So we'll be close should you ever get scared
We'll come when you call
It's a room full of stories Waiting to be told
Longing to behold
And if you like laughing I'll paint you a circus of smiles and ferris wheels, dear
And if you like living Your Mother will fly you to worlds both far and near
Somehow....
I never knew the silence could make me so deaf
I never knew that I could miss someone I never met
Miss someone I haven't met yet
We'll be waiting
Words and music by Wes king

Brady and Karson, you were soooooo worth the wait!

Super Cheesy Smiley Faces

We are so cracking up about the twins' new smiley faces! They have learned to smile on demand, and the picture posing smiles are sooooo funny. I am worried about taking them to have real studio pics made---- Check out these grins!

This is Karson's standard "Mommy take my picture smile."

Brady was actually in time-out in this pic. He doesn't look too upset does he? Check out his toofers!

The Cheerios Bandit

This is Karson "I Only Like Gold Fish and Cheerios" Osborne "What?" "You can't prove anything Mama."
"Okay, since they are already on the floor, I'll go ahead and eat one."
"What else can I reach? I know there are gold fish somewhere in here!"
"Hey, I still plead innocent!"
Karson, I caught you red handed--you sneaky thing!

I Would Die for That--You Tube Video

Recently, I have had the opportunity to attempt to help some other women as they are traveling down the road of infertility. I believe God allowed me to travel this same road so that I could be a light on their dark journey. Only those who have traveled down this path can truly understand the ache of missing someone you have never met. Because I know God personally and believe that He wants us to be completely honest with Him, as we would be with anyone we love, I can tell him that infertility is unfair. On this side of Heaven, I will never fully understand why He allowed it to happen to us, but I hope that my trial can help comfort someone else.

2 Corinthians 1
Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.

I came across this video on You Tube. Of course, it made me cry. I hope that it will remind you to be sensitive to others who might be dealing with the inability to have a child easily. We don't ask for you to understand---we just ask that you acknowledge that it is a difficult road we have to travel.

Braids is opening his present very carefully!
The cell phones were a big hit Santa. What will we do when the boys really start calling? He is really a little shocked because it actually said, "Hello Brady!"
