I wish we could move to Neverland

Not Michael Jackson's (may he R.I.P.) bizarro ranch, but the land where children never grow up!
Alas, my "babies" turned another year older on the 12th........boo-hoo!!!!

We tried to keep things low key and celebrated with the families from our small group Bible study from church and grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins......etc. Actually, it wasn't that low-key. Our Bible study meets on Sunday evenings, so we just turned the meeting into a fun social for our birthday prince and princess.

A little entertainment

I made these SUPER cheap "3" shirts with t's I found on sale for $2 at Wally World and some $1.99 fabric samples......a pirate map for Brady and Tinkerbell for Karson. I used web fuse to iron on the 3's that I cut out........totally no-sew easy!

Did you catch our theme? If I can't send them to Neverland, at least we could pretend we were there for one evening!

Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a cake or pick a theme for boy/girl twins?! Karson was set on Tinkerbell and Brady was totally cool with Peter Pan.......so it worked out nicely!

The pirate pinata was hilarious! I was too cheap to buy one of those ribbon pull ones at the party store. Mr. Target brand, generic pirate guy wasn't gonna budge......even with major whacks from the oldest kids! The daddies saved the day with a pocket knife! But, the kids didn't care......they got plenty of goodies!
Candy!

Two toddlers opening presents at the same time was TOTAL chaos!

Now dirty and stuffed with cake, it's time to share in some of the goodies that we sent home with our guests! The boys got lots of pirate gear and the ladies went home with fairy wings (the $1 Tree has awesomely cheap stuff at Halloween!)

Now, Mama Oz is birthdayed out until next year!! That's the nice thing about having 2 kids with the same birthday!
