"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God."
I pray that God has and will allow me to comfort others who are facing a similar journey. But also, I pray that God will help me minister to those whose loved ones may be facing infertility and are struggling to with how to understand and how to react and empathize. Having to cope with friends and family members who simply did not understand or know how to respond to our pain was one of the hardest parts of our journey.
Folks, the pain of infertility is truly missing someone whom you have never met. It is lonely. It is sad. It is hard. But, it is comforting to know that the God who created the Universe will carry you every step of the way.
Last year, I wrote a post highlighting some of the things that helped us get through our journey. I also gave some Do's and Don'ts for friends and family who are trying to hold the hands of an infertile couple. I encourage you to read it.........odds are you know someone who is or will be on this same journey. You can click HERE to read the post.

"Blessed be the Lord, for he has heard the sound of my pleadings. The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him." Psalm 28:6-7
