Not Me Monday!

If you were in a very crowded Kmart restroom this week, and overheard the following conversation involving this overly-informed, loud, prissy toddler and her Mama:

…….it was definitely NOT ME!

“Mommy are you gonna sit on the potty too?”

“Yes, honey….after you get finished.”

(Between grunts) “Are you gonna poop and pee-pee Mommy? I am pooping and pee-peeing! Sometimes I do that Mommy. Are you gonna do that too? Mommy, hold your nose…..it is getting stinky.”

(whispering)“Good job honey. No, Mommy just needs to pee-pee.”

(Now waiting on her Mommy and definitely NOT using her inside voice) "Mommy, do you need a tampon Mommy? Are you bleeding Mommy? Cause if you need a tampon Mommy, I can get one out of your purse! What color wrapper do you want today Mommy…..purple, yellow or green?? Daddy's favorite color is purple......do you want a purple one mommy?”

“Shhhhh sweetie! I do not need a tampon.”

“Mommy do you need a diaper for your panties Mommy? You can use those too! I can get you one Mommy.”

“Shhhhhhhh! NO! Mommy does not need one of those either, Sis! Let’s go wash our hands now.”

Nope, that was definitely not me :)

Now head over to McMama's at My Charming Kids for some more "Not Me" moments! Go on! It you'll get a good laugh and feel a lot better knowing that you aren't the only crazy or completely mortified person out there!

That is super! I have sooo had those moments. Ellie liked to "visit" bathrooms. She just wanted to see them and not go. Out of frustration I told her "the next time you tell me you have to go to the bathroom and then don't I am going to spank you. Of course, it happened and I had to follow through (because I remeinded her of the promise on our way to the restroom). Later, we were in a restroom and she successfully peed and exclaimed "Mommy! You don't have to spank me this time!" I figured someone was going to come question me about my parenting before we were able to leave!

Hope all is well with you and your family!
