I..... Touched....... Joey........ McIntyre!
See this girl right here with the big hair and braces? She would have cried, peed her pants and fainted.
But not this mature, mother of two......Nope, she just leaped over 2 isles of chairs, successfully groped a married man (only on the jacket), talked back to a security guard and stood in high heels in a folding chair screaming for 5 guys that really aren't even as hot as her own husband........but man did she have fun!!!!!!!!

What an amazing experience it was to witness the
NKOTB Reunion tour with 2 of my 5
th grade
BFFs who attended the concert with me 19 years ago!

Forget technology....I though it was way more authentic to make signs using old school black paint

And yes, these are all vintage t-shirts that our moms saved for us.........can you believe that? Truly, I think they were way too scared of what we'd do if they threw them out.

I still can't believe we all successfully dug all our pins and
paraphernalia out of our parents' houses!

We decided on a little more grown-up look for the concert.

Okay, I took like 200 pictures.

Here is my darling Joey......who I touched. How you ask? Well, Heather's friend had gone to their concert in Nashville the night before and told us a little secret tip. We had floor seats, and we had been informed that during the show, the boys were gonna come down the isles to a little stage in the middle of the crowd. Unfortunately, all those other thousands of 30 somethings in the crowd also had friends who had tipped them off to this secret as well. So, when the time was right, I leaped over 2 rows of chairs to get to the back. Fortunately, Heather and I made it to the isle they were to run down. I gave Danny a high-five and groped Joey's sequined jacket. I so wish I had my camera at that moment because they
were like right in front of us......we were standing on chairs in heels and got to watch them perform a whole set.....amazing! I screamed like a 12-year-old!

I feel almost guilty about saying this because Joey was one of my first loves.....but I have to admit now................

that Jordan is WAY hotter.........How many 40-year-old performers could
reenact the very same number they did at 18 and look just at hot?

It was an awesome show! They did all the hits from the 90's and songs from their new album........which by the way is so good.......really.........you should add some of the songs on a mixed tape for your honey.

I think I'm gonna become a groupie........okay, maybe not......but it sure was fun to go back in time for one night of pure fun! I'd better go now and set up the fan so Jeremy can lip sync "I'll Be Loving You Forever" to me in his white shirt before the kids wake-up.........right ;)

Kristen,
I have been WAITING for this post! :) AAAAA! (That is me screaming in my pillow so not to wake up my napping child!) You touched Joe Mc! I'm so envious! I am so bummed (reverting back to my teenage slang) that I missed this concert. I saw them twice in K-ville when I was in high school. We had front row (on the side of the stage) seats once and even caught Donnie's sweat towel. Jordan (my fave) blew me a kiss and my knees buckled. At the time, I thought it was the highlight of my life. Now, fast forward to this tour...I was supposed to fly to Orlando to see NKOTB with one of my BFF's Erica, who *hearts* them as much as we do, for the Mar. 13th concert. She has an "in"...one of her Orlando friends grew up in Beantown with them. They had 6th row seats. Anyway, Office Depot scheduled JP's inventory for that weekend. The one weekend a year where he literally works 24/7 for two days...Can you believe they stood in the way of my NKOTB destiny with Jordan K? ;) (sigh) So, when I saw your post that you were heading to Greenville...I just couldn't wait to hear how it went. I'm so glad you had a great time. Your post is hilarious-I love your tee-shirts-I still have my Jordan shirt-and Donnie's sweat towel from 1990. I know I make my hubby proud. lol. So Jordan still has the right stuff, huh? Sorry, just couldn't resist! Sorry for the novel!
