We had a wonderful, jam-packed Christmas Eve. First, the kids opened gifts and we all ate lunch at Nana and Papa's house. We had tons of yummy appetizers......enough that I have currently put myself on the Special K diet plan (which isn't going so well I might add as I sit here with 3
Rolos in hand).
Anyway, Brady definitely ate his weight in Mommy's Cheese dip that night!. You might say he is a fan.....a BIG, BIG fan. In fact, he ate so much that as soon as we arrived home to change clothes for our Christmas Eve church service, ALL of that cheese dip he consumed was violently projected all over Mommy Oz (who, by the way, was already dressed for church). Fun times.

All of the Oz
grandkids received musical instruments. Brady was on guitar, and
Karson tried her hand at violin. Cousin
Cavin got at keyboard with a microphone. It was a big hit to say the least.

After the Christmas Eve service at my parents' church, we went to Grammy and G-Daddy's for a Birthday Party for Jesus, more yummy food and presents!

This cookie cake recipe came from the Mother's Day Cookbook put together by Mrs.
Bryson's 3rd grade class (via Kristen Smith's mom). It is
sooooooooo good, very inexpensive to make and totally easy!
Yellow Cake Mix
2 eggs
1/2 cup oil
teaspoon of Vanilla
bag of Chocolate Chips
Mix well and spread in a greased/floured pizza pan and bake on 350 for 11-13 minutes or until you think it is done!

Happy Birthday Jesus!

Baby Gavin and his Daddy had fun opening his first Christmas present!

You have NO idea how much Sis loves the movie
Robin Hood! We have watched it 1 million times! Until now, there is no way you would have had the chance to rent it at our local Blockbuster because I guarantee we had it checked out! But, thanks to Uncle Dave and Aunt Cara,
Karson has a copy that she can keep forever! Can you tell she was excited?

Grammy got Brady a play dough hamburger builder. And, you can bet we left it at her house! The Oz kids LOVE play dough........Mommy Oz...... not so much.

Then, G-Daddy got attacked by a baby.

And
Mema got some thank-you hugs from cousin Noah for some cool G.I. Joe stuff. I'm not sure who was more excited about all the G.I. Joe action figures.....Noah or Uncle Dave. Now, my brother REALLY regrets that he and his buddy Matt actually destroyed all of their own figures in make-believe battles in
their youth. (He is really jealous that all of my My Little Ponies, Strawberry Shortcake dolls and Barbies are still in
pristine condition! Ha!)
